Job summary:
The Senior Business Analyst will oversee the product backlog, requirements, and value realization of the Clinical Data Layer (CDL), ensuring that business needs are translated into prioritized, implementable capabilities supporting clinical data management, biometrics, Statistical Programming, analytics, regulatory, and future secondary-use scenarios.

The role will also gather requirements for identified agents, evaluate available market solutions, and support the preparation and assessment of RFIs and RFPs for tool selection. The Business Analyst will facilitate collaboration between business and technical stakeholders throughout the evaluation process.

Major accountabilities and responsibilities:

Delivery Lead / Project Management

• Own the CDL product backlog

• Act as delivery lead from the UCB side

• Plan activities, communication and reporting to business and transversal teams

• Ensure structured organization of requirements and communications to support traceability of progress and decisions

• Organize meetings with vendors, including calls, demos and hands-on sessions

Requirements & Business Analysis

• Lead requirements gathering and stakeholder workshops

• Define business, functional, operational and reporting requirements

• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria and business process requirements

• Manage consumption requirements across different CDL consumers

Stakeholder & Adoption Management

• Act as the primary business interface for CDL

• Coordinate business readiness and adoption activities

• Support training, communications and user engagement

• Coordinate UAT and business acceptance

• Measure adoption and business outcomes

AI Use Case Business Analysis

• Gather and document requirements for identified agents

• Evaluate available market solutions

• Assess their suitability against in-house development options

• Knowledge of Clinical Data Management processes

• Clinical trial lifecycle understanding

• Knowledge of CDISC (SDTM/ADaMS)

• Familiarity with Veeva DQS

• Familiarity with Domino Data Lab

• Clinical analytics

• GxP environment experience

• Stakeholder management
