The Scrum Master acts as the point of contact for everyone in the team, the Product Owner, the client(s) and other stakeholders for all questions about Agile working and the Scrum methodology.
As a Scrum Master, you act as a facilitator and guide and coach one or more teams to work in a self-organising way.
You motivate the team to work according to the Scrum methodology and values, and provide guidance where needed so that the team solves its own bottlenecks as much as possible.
You inspire the team where needed, offer steadiness and radiate positivity when things are not going so well.
You deploy team members according to their strengths and help them work together, so that project objectives are delivered regularly and with high quality.
You make sure that all standard Scrum events (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, planning sessions, sprint reviews) run smoothly in line with the Scrum guidelines.
You ensure that the Scrum team and its environment (e.g. Business, Management, PMO, Operations) know the Agile values and principles and apply the Scrum methodology.
