For our client in Mechelen, I am looking for a Technical Business Consultant

The client is looking for a Technical Business Consultant to strengthen the Technical Order Fulfilment (TOF) team within the Product Journey Tribe.

The focus of this role is on maximizing business value by translating business needs into concepts, insights, and future-proof solutions.

An important task is to support the redesign of the OSS provisioning and inventory landscape for HFC and FTTH products.

You will act as a trusted advisor bridging business and technology and supporting transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translating business needs into clear technical documentation for delivery partners.

• Ensuring technical alignment and monitoring initiatives from kick-off to go-live.

• Maximizing business value through analysis, design, and continuous value monitoring.

• Conducting requirements and impact analyses on processes, systems, and tools.

• Providing input for roadmaps, business cases, and strategic decisions.

• Developing conceptual solution designs and evaluating innovative approaches.

• Defining acceptance criteria and validating end-to-end solutions.

• Supporting change management and ensuring quality implementation.

• Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to knowledge management.

• Delivering analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making.

• Closely collaborating with internal teams and external delivery partners.

Start: October 2026

Duration: End of 2026 with option to extend to 2027

Full-time

3 days/week in the office

Requirements & Qualifications

• Preferably a bachelor's or master's degree, but strong relevant experience and a bachelor's/master's level of thinking and acting can compensate for this.

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience as a Technical Business Consultant or Functional Analyst.

Must-have Skills

• Strong experience with process modeling, process management, and documentation.

• Knowledge of SOAP and REST, including API documentation (e.g., Swagger).

• Experience with both off-the-shelf software (COTS) and custom applications.

• Experience with Netcracker products.

• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.

• Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.

• Ability to collaborate smoothly within teams and handle different interests constructively.

• Experience in complex telecom and OSS environments.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience in the telecom sector, preferably with OSS/BSS or network provisioning.

• Experience with offshore teams.
