The Facilities team consists of multiple agile teams, including the Post-out team, which consists of 7 members. This team manages all outgoing communication to millions of members, via email, SMS, letters, doccle, ... this involves 80 million communications per year. For this, we use a Document Management System called Papyrus and Comform, which are critical components for multiple business domains. This requires necessary upgrades to the latest version, decommissioning of the old system, and coordination of multiple test scenarios.

Challenge/commitment:

• Speaks Dutch or French as a native language with a very good additional knowledge of Dutch/French and English.

• Very strong and thorough technical analysis skills

• Experience working in an Agile environment and scrum team and as a scrum master.

• Work location: 1 day per week in Schaarbeek, 4 days per week homeworking.

Responsibilities:

• You communicate efficiently with various stakeholders (functional analysts, solution architect) so they perfectly understand the priorities of the tasks.

• You ensure that your code is fully covered with unit tests.

• You are able to make technical improvement proposals and defend them with the solution architect.

• You support the tester in functional testing.

• You analyze integrations with other parties and systems.

• You are able to develop the technical design based on a functional analysis.

• You work with infrastructure employees to install applications and monitor their operation.

• You thoroughly document your software, without getting lost in details.

• Additional tasks:

• During development, you must work closely with the solution architect, analysts, and testers to ensure that the functionalities are implemented and tested correctly.

Profile

• You have a thorough knowledge of Quarkus, JSP, SQL, JAVA 8 & higher, XML, XSD, Webservices (SOAP & REST), OpenShift

• You have experience in development and deployment in cloud environments, preferably AWS

• You have knowledge of the following tools: Weblogic, Maven, Nexus, GIT, ...

• Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, SNS/SQS or similar cloud services is a plus

• You have experience in the development and application maintenance of enterprise-class systems.

• You have experience in Agile methodologies

• You are critical and have good analytical and synthesis skills
