The organization operates in a complex technological environment combining a historical application landscape and modern components. The context includes a structural transformation of the IT landscape, modernization of architectures, technical debt reduction, Cloud adoption, and compliance with regulatory requirements, notably NIS2.
Existing applications cover critical areas such as unemployment regulation (eligibility, payments, debt management, financial and accounting processing). Some of these systems rely on legacy technologies, while new Cloud/hybrid architectures are emerging. The architect plays a key role in harmonizing, securing, and making these architectures consistent.
Main responsibilities
1. As a "programmer"
Develop and/or adapt computer applications to provide efficient and user-friendly tools to end users
2. As an "analyst - programmer"
Analyze the technical specifications of an application to choose the best solution and execute this analysis (for smaller projects) to enable users to perform their tasks efficiently and ensure the optimal and controlled operation of IT resources
3. As a "specialist"
- Perform technical analyses in the context of business projects.
- Advise on integrations, data models, performance, and scalability.
- Support the team in adopting technologies and architectural patterns.
- Analyze and solve complex technical problems in a highly interconnected environment.
- Ensure the consistency of legacy and modern components.
Required technical skills
- Proven experience (5-7+ years) in complex IT programming.
- Expertise in modern Java (Spring, microservices, API-driven, event-driven).
- Skills in containerization and orchestrators (OpenShift).
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and data modeling.
- Knowledge of integrations: messaging, REST/GraphQL, event-driven.
- Knowledge of resilient architectures and high availability.- Understanding of security standards (NIS2).

Working conditions
- Remote work is possible (2 days per week) after 2 weeks of on-site work.
Start ideally on 1/10 - contract until the end of the year, possibly renewable. Bilingualism is important.
Technical competencies
Min. 5 to 7 years of experience in complex software development.
Strong expertise in Java (Spring, microservices, API- and event-driven architectures).
Experience with OpenShift, containerization, and orchestration.
Thorough knowledge of MySQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
Experience with integrations via REST, GraphQL, messaging, and event-driven solutions.
Knowledge of high availability, resilient architectures, and IT security standards (NIS2).
