We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer who collaborates with other engineers to develop, implement, and manage cloud solutions within the company. The Cloud Platform Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the automated infrastructure for the containerized Azure environment, setting up CI/CD pipelines for provisioning and deployment, and monitoring availability, latency, and system health.

The consultant is responsible for:

• Building CI/CD pipeline configurations for provisioning and deployment of large and small systems

• Ensuring solutions are well engineered, maintainable, and delivered on time

• Collaborating with business and engineering teams to deploy new infrastructure on the Azure platform

• Monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, test, and production environments

• Communicating status and risks to product and management teams

• Assisting in automating and streamlining operations and processes

• Participating in shift/on-call rotations according to operational policy (24/7) after training period

Work location Namur - at least 2 days/week physical presence in Namur, up to 3 days/week remote work

Period: 26-10-2026 - 31-12-2027

Required experience and skills

• Significant experience in writing Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules; knowledge of OpenTofu/Bicep is a plus

• Solid experience in deploying/securing distributed apps with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Azure Kubernetes); experience with ArgoCD, Helm, etc.

• Experience with DevOps and GitOps models (infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code)

• Understanding of landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and Well-Architected Framework principles

• Experience with container technologies and CI/CD tools

• Experience with programming and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

• In-depth understanding of Data Platform technologies and ability to work with services like ADF, Databricks

• Experience with cloud logging, monitoring, and observability tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus)

• Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, CLI, Python)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and customer-oriented

• Is the candidate willing to work onsite 2 days/week in Namur?

• How many years of hands-on experience does the candidate have with Azure Kubernetes? (less than 2 years / 2 years or more)

• How many years of hands-on experience does the candidate have with Microsoft Azure? (less than 2 years / 2 years or more)

• Is the candidate willing to participate in on-call duty after a training and onboarding period of several months?
