For one of our clients, we are looking for a Functional Analyst SHEQ Platform for a limited engagement of 50 man-days (Sept - Dec).
The client is preparing for the implementation of a central SHEQ platform to better support safety, environmental, quality, and compliance processes. Currently, data and controls are scattered across various applications, Excel files, and emails, making it challenging to efficiently monitor and demonstrate compliance with laws and regulations.
As a Functional Analyst, your responsibilities will include mapping processes, stakeholders, and requirements, and translating them into a business analysis, BPMN process models, a conceptual data model, and a solution design. These deliverables will serve as the foundation for selecting a suitable SHEQ solution and successful implementation in 2027.
The Functional Analyst will be responsible for conducting an internal feasibility study and preparing for a future SHEQ platform (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality). You will gather, analyze, and document the functional and non-functional requirements of various stakeholders and translate them into a structured business analysis to guide the selection of a technical solution and implementation in 2027.
Organize and facilitate workshops and interviews with business stakeholders.
Analyze existing processes, applications, spreadsheets, and shadow IT solutions currently used for safety, environmental issues, audits, incidents, inspections, and compliance monitoring.
Document functional requirements, business rules, and user needs.
Document non-functional requirements such as security, compliance, reporting, audit trail, performance, integrations, and access control.
Model AS-IS and TO-BE processes, preferably using BPMN.
Identify integration needs with existing applications and platforms.
Collaborate with business, IT, architecture, and project stakeholders.
A comprehensive and endorsed business analysis package - validated by business stakeholders - serving as the decision-making basis for SHEQ solution selection and as the starting point for implementation and rollout in 2027.
