As a Medior/Senior Cloud Consultant at Droppar, you are not only responsible for the technical side of cloud projects. You are also a trusted advisor to our clients. You understand complex architectures and can translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

• You design, implement, manage, and optimize complex (multi-)cloud environments for our clients.

• You advise clients on cloud migrations, cost optimization (FinOps), security, and architecture choices.

• You automate infrastructure and deployment processes following DevOps and GitOps principles, both internally and at clients.

• You actively share your knowledge during internal knowledge sessions and help further expand our cloud expertise and operations at Droppar.

Who are you?

• Experience: You have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or consultancy.

• Cloud expertise: You have a strong knowledge and hands-on experience with at least two leading cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You know how to leverage the strengths of each platform optimally within a multi-cloud environment.

• Consultancy skills: You communicate smoothly and convincingly and can act as a senior-level sparring partner. You feel comfortable giving presentations and can explain complex technical concepts clearly to different stakeholders.

• Technical background: You have experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of network management, security, and databases is a must.

• Education: You have a bachelor's or master's degree in IT, or an equivalent level built through relevant experience. Relevant cloud certifications like AWS, Azure, or OCI are a plus.

• Mindset: You are proactive and analytical, have strong problem-solving skills, and enjoy taking the lead in projects. Additionally, you find satisfaction in guiding and coaching junior colleagues.
